About Me

Hello. My name is Baris. I am a Nation-Wide tour guide based in Cappadocia, Turkey. I was born in a city called Zonguldak in the North of Turkey. Later I moved and finished high school in Izmir and came to Cappadocia to study tourist guiding in Nevsehir University. In 2012 I finished my degree and finally I got my licence in 2012 from Turkish Ministy of Tourism and Culture and I am giving guiding services all around Turkey since 2012. I like to perform tours including cultural, historical and archeological sites combine with local experinces.

Also I like taking nature photos and archeological site photos. This is helping me to evolve my guiding service and it enriches my tours. Turkey is a very rich country not only for its museums or archeological sites but also spectacular landscapes and extreme activities. I really like to add these type of places in my programs to make them unforgettable for your experince in Turkey. On the other hand I am a man of nature. I love outdoor activities. Some of my programs are including short and easy hikes. If it is requested, I can guide all day hike programs around Cappadocia.

Another advantage of traveling in Turkey is its cuisine. Personally I like eating as much as cooking. It is one of my favorite hobbies. It is also encouring me to discover good restaurants and nice shop where we can find good spices for cooking. Additionaly it is possible to discover Turkish/Anatolian cusinie in Cappadocia with cooking classes which is gudied by me.
